The structural design for Allure on Chevron Island supports the creation of a distinctive residential tower within the centre of the Chevron Island precinct. Located prominently on the corner of Dalpura and Burra Street, the structure has been carefully coordinated with the architectural form to enable the building’s articulated base, recessed tower levels and crown to be delivered efficiently and buildably.
A reinforced concrete core and frame system supports the sculpted tower volumes above a multi-level basement and activated ground plane. The structural approach allows the tower elements to be offset and expressed while maintaining clear load paths, lateral stability and efficient floorplates for residential use.
Durability and coastal exposure considerations were integral to the design, ensuring long-term performance in the Gold Coast environment. The resulting structure underpins a recognisable landmark building that complements the Chevron Island skyline and supports the evolving character of the precinct.
